* Use supplied links and Google to gain an understanding of VM software and installation  
* If desired, bring a PC ready to install VM software  
* Download manuals, FAQ, etc.  
* We will have Flash Thumb Drives with the software ready for you to load on your PC: VirtualBox (VM) and Elastix ( IP PBX)

March 19 Meeting

TOPIC: Jerry Harkey from Aastra will give a presentation.

• Now that we have used Elastix in the last couple meetings it seems agreeable that we will replace trixbox with Elastix as our VoIP server
• Let's talk about equipment/hardware, software, etc. for futre meetings based around our project using Elastix:
• We need to set up an always available HQ system
• We need to assign hierarchy to branch offices (our individual/home systems)
• What should we bring to each meeting - simplify the hardware and network needed to reduce transportation and setup hassles
• Elastix may be used on similarly equipped PCs to what we have used for trixbox, and can be used inside VMs such as VirtualBox (if your PC has enough resources).
• Think about forming committees
